Towards eco-responsible Nuits Lyriques
Les Nuits Lyriques is committed...
We are convinced that associations have a real social responsibility, whether it be environmental, in favor of equality, diversity and the fight against discrimination (signatory of the Diversity Charter), access to lyrical art for all, or for the responsible economic, tourist and cultural development of our territory.
Beyond our artistic proposals, beyond the financial spin-offs we generate, the Nuits Lyriques have a non-market value because they contribute to the tourist or economic attractiveness of the territory. Indeed, even if not all the inhabitants participate in our activities, they feel the presence of the Nuits Lyriques as what we are, an asset for our rurality.
This is why we are committed to an environmental, social and societal approach to our territory.
to a greener future...
Since 2019, we are committed to an eco-responsible approach to sustainable development. In doing so, we are consistent with the territorial anchoring of our activities and our desire to continuously improve our practices.
The first steps we have taken constitute a foundation on which we will build, with each edition, a more responsible future.
Develop carpooling for spectators by creating, starting in 2022, a Facebook group to connect people.
Adapt the size of the Festival venues to a more regional audience.

– the use of non-disposable tableware (glasses and plates) for all our receptions (we are currently at 70% of non-disposable),
– the implementation of a good practice approach for all volunteers who participate in the organization of the festival,
– In the long run, we are thinking of providing free water during the Festival and the International Singing Competition, which would settle, once and for all, the presence of plastic bottles during the event.
