OPERA
LES PÊCHEURS DE PERLES - Opera in 3 acts by Georges Bizet
Conductor : Philippe MESTRES
Director : Hye Myung KANG
Avant-Scène Choir :
Marie-Claire MESTRES
ORCHESTRA OF THE SYMPHONISTS OF AQUITAINE.
Composed in 1863, this opera is one of Bizet’s earliest significant works. Although it is often overshadowed by Carmen, it remains an essantial piece of the French Romantic repertoire, already revealing the composer’s lyricism and sensitivity.
The aria “Je crois entendre encore”, which has become emblematic, makes the work instantly recognizable and capable of moving a very wide audience, thanks to its exeptional musical and dramatic beauty.

Anousha NAZARI, Mezzo-soprano – Antoine MORINIÈRE, classical guitar
« Labyrinthe Baroque » is more than a simple concert : it is an exploration of the rich mosaic of musical diversity. Anousha Nazari and Antoine Morinière invite you to follow a luminous path through early music, where the works of Handel, Dowland and Strozzi intertwine with the enchanting melodies of the 15th-century Persian composer Maraghi, culminating in a modern piece composed by Antoine Morinière based on poems by the 13th-century poet Rumi.
Thanks to unique arrangements for voice and guitar, the programme builds a bridge between eras and cultures, celebrating the harmony born from diversity.
