A unique Cultural Project
built from a Competition and a Festival
Our vocation is the promotion of the Lyric Art, from Marmande, by developing artists at the beginning of their career. Thus, while allowing everyone access to vocal music and opera, we work towards the professional integration of these young professionals.
Les Nuits Lyriques de Marmande are supported by the City of Marmande, the Conseil Départemental de Lot-et-Garonne, the Région Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Val-de-Garonne Agglomération, the DRAC, as well as private organizations…
The Association is managed by a team of volunteers who manage to mobilize local musical forces, the population, local authorities and private partners.

Solidly anchored in their territory, the Nuits Lyriques de Marmande are, like music, widely open to the world.
Through its roots and its wings, the Brigades Lyriques, the Festival and the Competition contribute to the dynamism, the creation of wealth, the attractiveness, the identity and the international influence of our City, our Agglomeration, our Department and our Region.

The Volunteers
They are teachers, craftsmen, accountants, secretaries,… and during the Nuits Lyriques, they become costume designers, decorators, prop-makers, assistant stage directors, presenters of the candidates, logistics experts…
Behind the scenes, they bring the Nuits Lyriques to life and participate in its organization. They are the strength of the Festival and of the International Singing Competition… + info
