Gaetano Donizetti’s “La Fille du Régiment” (The Daughter of the Regiment) remains truly modern 185 years after its premiere!
Marie, canteen maid and mascot of a regiment of soldiers, is a young orphan girl raised by Sergeant Sulpice. She hopes to marry Tonio, a peasant turned officer, who has enlisted for love of her. The Marquise de Berkenfield, fleeing Austria, arrives in the middle of the regiment…
A joyous, burlesque opera that subtly criticizes social and military conventions, and shows that love transcends social barriers.

Zhao Li leads a traditional Sichuan opera troupe that lives and performs together on the outskirts of Chengdu. When she receives a demolition notice for her theater. Zhao Li hides it from the other members of the company and decides to fight to find a new venue, where they can all continue to live and sing. And so begins a struggle for the survival of their art.

Apolline et Thaïs Raï-Westphal vous invitent à une rencontre musicale où sororité rime avec virtuosité et sensibilité. Un voyage musical qui sera l’occasion de faire connaissance et d’apprécier ces deux jeunes artistes attachantes !
Pour ce concert décentralisé à Fourques-sur-Garonne, ce duo familial explorera des œuvres variées, reflets de leurs sensibilités musicales et poétiques, et créera un espace convivial de rencontre artistique.
